Deaf to all but the (Touhou) Song!

I've been meaning to post this for a long time, but I kinda forgotten all about it until just now.

So, lately I've been listening to pretty much Touhou arrangement, listening to practically nothing else (well, nothing new anyway - besides the arrangements, I've been going through some older stuff that I've kept in my hard disc as well).

And when it comes to Touhou arrangement - as with the other music that I listen to - I have a rather unsophisticated taste, which you would see in a short while:

Shitposting for a bit

I saw this on a fagbook, and I thought that it was just full of lul:

Check out the 3rd comment (and his other comments as well)

Honestly, the comments on the page made me to both laugh and facepalm at the same time. Anyone can talk big, but I wonder if they're as tough as they sound. So much for internet mobs eh...

I have just finished watching Toradora and Detroit Metal City, after putting them on the backlog for so long.

Toradora turns out quite good, better than what I expected. Looking at Taiga, and the apparently abundance of tsundere nowadays, I would certainly agree with one dude when he said that tsundere nowadays are starting to get pretty old.

As for DMC... I didn't know at first that Studio 4C was behind the series in the first place; I guess that would explain the slightly odd animation style. It's a pretty cool series - tho it might be a bit on the no-brainer side - but I think I prefer the movie version (the song sounds better there, methinks). Also, I think Krauser-san in the movie is more constrained, which can be a good or a bad thing, depending on your preference. I'd say the movie is certainly more toned down compared with the series.

Alright, time to get back to them backlogs. Sorry for not posting anything of significant content this time ahaha.

Here, have a ridiculously cute drawing of Krauser (Krauser-tan? lol)

ZUN speaks

I'm sure by now most people are aware of the announce by ZUN on his blog about new guidelines for derived Touhou work (or, if you can't read moonrunes, you might have read it from here)

EDIT: After reading more comments on the issue, I am further in agreement that the western fanbase can be quite terrible at times (or would you say most of the time?). I'll be honest guys, sometimes the fans do get on my nerves...

That Reimu plushie

Happy v-day to those who celebrated it~

As for me, I was too busy with uni to do anything for the day. Well, not that I really celebrate it in the first place anyway haha.

Anyway, remember that I mentioned on my plan on purchasing some girly toys, and how I found one that I'm interested in? Well, the plushie in question is a Reimu plushie that is released by Gift.

What ringgit and sens meant to a certain middlegrounder

Don't be fooled by the apparently thought provoking title.

So... I've been looking at the figures they were going to release at Wonfest 11. And my reaction... could be perfectly summed up by this series of pic:

I'm exaggerating (but not by much)

Yeah, I'm a madman~

Unexpected tl;dr below:

I'm still alive, but my internet isn't~

Title pretty much says it all.

I'm currently in the middle of catching up with stuff that I've missed in the last couple of days (not much progress for this) and trying to finish my assignments (even worse). Commenting/posting/spaming will (hopefully) resume soon.

Also, I was sick the whole day yesterday. And the weird thing was that I was having this one dream, which was very fuzzy and messy, right before/when I started to feel sick. And it had something involving Touhou music arrangement. Not too surprising I guess, when I look at the fact that I've been listening to mostly Touhou stuff lately - maybe more on that later.

At the moment, I'm still not sure what I'll be writing in the future posts. Uni's keeping me so occupied that I don't have time for anything's else. Man I miss taking it easy like usual...
