Dead. I'm dead

Not only in the blogging sense, but in the oh-no-I'm-really-in-deep-shit-now.

First of all, I haven't had much time (or motivation) to linger long enough on the internet, let alone for reading all the blogs in my leisure time. A lot has happened, in which I'll summarize it as 'life happens'.

Secondly, I'm now trapped in a financial problem, and to solve it involves me being a bit demanding to my possible employer for my part time job, as a safeguard before I resume my master study (the deal is all on the basis of word of mouth, and I hope they could settle it in black & white).

Assuming everything on the job is settled, I'll have to move out from this college (which I had cunningly managed to stay despite not having paid the deposit at all - I'm really lucky they haven't started knocking down the door of the room...) to rent a house someplace near the office (I'd have to take a long train ride + expensive fare for cab if I wanted to go back and forth between this college and the office). I hope I could get both the job and an accommodation at the same time.

Thirdly, this is a minor thing, but my college wifi has now blocked good ol 'booru. Now, excuse me as I try all the method to bypass the idiotic censor...

You know. All the recent event really make me connect with Fight Club. Remind me to write something about it somewhere in the future, mm?

I have no guarantee when I could get back to blogging. Well, keep on writing, and I'll hopefully be resuming soon, OK?

EDIT: The company I'm doing my part time has an empty room they let their employee use if they so wish it. Probably a bit crampy and a bit lack of privacy, but it's free, and I don't have to worry about paying monthly rent... so yea!

Because there's beauty in violence.... have kemonomichi's Yuuka:

"Imagine," Tyler said, "stalking elk past department store windows and stinking racks of beautiful rotting dresses and tuxedos on hangers; you'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life, and you'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. Jack and the beanstalk, you'll climb up through the dripping forest canopy and the air will be so clean you'll see tiny figures pounding corn and laying strips of venison to dry in the empty car pool lane of an abandoned superhighway stretching eight-lanes-wide and August-hot for a thousand miles.

(...hey, I dunno why I exactly associate the quote with the picture there. Search me)

  1. It'd be hard to plan much with everything unconfirmed like that. It seems like you're right to stay at college for a bit longer unti-

    >my college wifi has now blocked good ol 'booru

Yeah, you need to get out of there.

    Good luck getting everything settled!

  2. @serenity: yup, I'm working my way on asking the office people to remove my name off the room. Hopefully they won't mind me registering (and not paying the deposit - so they'll probably ask me to pay for the daily rate or something...)

  3. Also, I don't usually edit post, but I'm too lazy to make a new one for the update... so there you go~

  4. Haha, the last school I went to blocked regular sites like Wikipedia, Metal Archives and some newspaper sites because of "pornography" and "malware".

Doesn't sound very nice, but free is free. Hope you can get out of all deep shit soon.

  6. @Link: Yup, pretty much. I hope my office colleague won't go around poking at my stuff. I really hate it when it happens.

    @Nevah: Thanks man.
